Barley, BBQ and BEATS • May 21, 2016
Inspired by the annual John Clay Memorial BBQ & Rib Cook-off, hosted by the Clay family and Miller Welding Supply Co., we are pleased to unveil Barley, BBQ & Beats – a unique and delicious community celebration and memorial. This exciting new event will tap into West Michigan’s love of barbeque and craft cocktails while supporting Hospice of Michigan’s Open Access program.
Barley, BBQ & Beats will be held on Saturday, May 21 from 5-9 p.m at Van Andel Arena. Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the door. Attendees, 21 and over, will receive BBQ samples and fixins’ from some of our leading pit masters and BBQ restaurants. Ticket holders will also enjoy hand-crafted cocktail tastings made with whiskeys distilled right here in Michigan. Every attendee will be provided a punch card, valid for 3 servings of BBQ and 3 hand-crafted cocktails. Extra punches will be available for a $5 each during the Barley, BBQ & Beats festival.
Domestic Problems, Mid-Life Crisis and Big Dudee Roo will be among the bands performing for what we hope will become an annual event in support of Hospice of Michigan.
